Founded in 1980, AV Concept Holdings Limited ("AV Concept") is a dynamic and fast-growing group specializing in marketing and distribution of electronic components, the design, development and sale of electronic products, venture capital investments in listed and unlisted equity investments with an ultimate objective of obtaining capital gains, and mobile application development. AV Concept has been listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 1996 (stock code: 595).
Particularly important among its specialty areas are the sales, marketing and distribution of electronic components — especially semiconductors — in Hong Kong, the PRC and the Asia Pacific regions. Its 75% owned joint venture, AVP Electronics Limited, is one of Asia's principal electronic component distributors for Samsung Electronics. Headquartered in Hong Kong with major sales offices in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Yuyao.
AV Concept's wholly owned subsidiary AV Concept Singapore Pte. Ltd. is a principal electronic component distributor for Samsung Asia Pte. Ltd. (Samsung Singapore) and operates a sales representative office in India. Together, AVP Electronics and AV Concept Singapore boast a comprehensive distribution network and strong sales and applications expertise across China, Singapore, India and other Asia Pacific regions.
